Private lessons focus on individualized training plans to help you achieve the goals you have for your dog. No goal is too big or small. Whether it is training basic manners or complex behaviors our instructors will develop a plan for you and your dog.

Private Lessons

IN-Person Lessons

Our in-person lessons offer a hands-on experience between you and your trainer.

In-person training is available in and around the Greensboro & Burlington, NC area.

Virtual Lessons Via Zoom

Virtual lessons allow us to offer our expertise to clients who live far away or can’t make in-person lessons.

All topics and training goals can be addressed with virtual lessons as long as the client has the equipment they want to use, Zoom installed, and access to internet with a webcam (laptop, phone, etc.)

Group Classes

Canine Circuit Training

This class will cover proper warm-ups, cool down, and foundation fitness behaviors. Each week, your dog will work through a full body conditioning circuit of approximately 4 exercises. While working the circuit you will receive feedback on proper form and techniques to get the correct movements, however your dog should already be proficient in performing foundation fitness behaviors and be comfortable working on both stable and unstable surfaces. At the end of each class you will have a total body workout you can use at home to get your dogs in great shape.  

Prerequisites: Working dogs must be at least 12 months old, know foundation fitness behaviors, and be comfortable working on stable and unstable surfaces.

Puppy & Senior Fitness

In this class, you will learn age-appropriate games and activities to do with your puppies and/or seniors that will promote body awareness, coordination, and confidence in navigating various surfaces.

You will practice basic targeting skills and have a chance to explore obstacle courses.

Puppies 4 months and older can attend, as well as adult dogs of any age that want to stay active and build confidence. 

Dog Sport Foundations

Not sure what foundation behaviors to start with? Already done some basics but stuck and not sure where to go next? Join us for this class that covers a variety of skills needed for all dogs that plan to play sports or compete in public.

We will help you learn how to keep your dog focused and engaged in distracting environments while also teaching them body awareness, targeting skills, and tricks. Each week will include at least one "obedience" behavior, one body awareness activity, and one shaping or brain game. 

Calm, Cool & Collected

Is your dog easily excited? Do they get nervous in new places? Are they afraid of people or objects? Have trouble entering a competition ring or dog training building? Are they always running high and ready to go? Do you plan on competing with them and want to help them navigate those types of environments?  

This class will focus on techniques to help keep your dog calm, cool and collected no matter the environment or situation they are in. We will focus on teaching strategies from the famous Control Unleashed books by Leslie McDevitt, including how to take a breath, relax on a mat, look at that, pattern games, and more. 

all the Things: young Dog Edition!

Looking for ways to keep your dog sport foundation headed in the right direction? Not sure where to start with your older puppy?

This class will help you learn how to keep your puppy focused and engaged in distracting environments while also teaching them body awareness, targeting skills, and tricks. Each week will include at least one "obedience" behavior, one body awareness activity, and one shaping or brain game.

Prerequisites: All the Things: Puppy Edition! (class or workshop) or instructor approval.

AKC Canine Good Citizen Prep

This class will cover obedience behaviors including loose leash walking, polite greetings, stay, and recalls, just to name a few. Each week we will practice skills needed to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test.

On the last night of class, all students will have the option of taking the test.

Class is open to dogs 6 months and older who are comfortable working in a group setting and have basic obedience and manners skills.

Shaping Tricks

In this class you will gain an understanding of the principles of clicker training while you develop your skills, timing, and mechanics.

At the end of the course, you and your dog will have the knowledge and understanding of shaping to continue to build on your collection of tricks.

This is a great class for puppies and dogs looking to build confidence or handlers looking to improve their shaping and clicker skills.

All the Things: Puppy Edition!

Not sure where to start with your puppy? Need ways to introduce them to new things and keep them busy? Looking for a class to teach them how to work around other dogs? Hoping to build a solid foundation for all the dog sports?

This is the class for you! Each week will include at least one "obedience" behavior, one body awareness activity, and one shaping or brain game.

Seminars & Workshops

Calm, Cool, & Collected: Puppy Edition!

This workshop will focus on techniques to help keep your puppy calm and focused on you no matter their environment or situation. We will focus on teaching strategies from the famous Control Unleashed books by Leslie McDevitt, including how to take a breath, reorient to handler, relax on a mat, look at that, and more.

Introducing your puppies to these methods and games at an early age will help you better navigate new places and competition settings when they are older. Puppies 3 months and older can attend. 

Puppy Fitness

During this workshop you will learn age-appropriate games and activities to do with your puppy in order to achieve better body awareness, coordination, and confidence navigating novel surfaces.

Your puppy will begin to learn basic targeting skills and have a chance to explore a variety of obstacle courses.

AKC Trick Dog

Want to learn a variety of tricks from beginner to more advanced and the variety of ways to teach them? Trick training is a great way to build confidence and establish a stronger bond with your dog while exercising them both physically and mentally.

All tricks taught will help you prepare for the AKC Trick Dog tests. This workshop is open to dogs 5 months and older, who are comfortable working in a group setting, and have basic obedience and manners skills.

Functional ReaR Foot Targeting

In this 90-minute crash course on functional rear foot targeting we will start with the basics and go through the progressions and exercises you can use at home to help promote body awareness, weight shift to the rear, and your dog using their hind end effectively to improve in their sport of choice while also helping prevent injury.

Didn't know targeting could do all that? This is the workshop for you!

All the Things: Puppy Edition!

During this 2-hour workshop you will learn age-appropriate games and activities to do with your puppy to get them started on the right paw.

We will work on some basic puppy behaviors, body awareness, switching between toys and food and discuss how to build confidence for navigating new environments.

Puppies 3-months and older can attend. 

Loose Leash Walking

In this 90-minute workshop you will learn tips, tricks, and strategies to help get your dog to walk politely on a leash.

No more pulling or dragging you where they want you to go. 

Traveling Seminars & Workshops

Jamie is available to teach seminars on various subjects in your hometown. She has recently traveled to teach Foundation Fitness, Fitness for the Canine Athlete, Control Unleashed, Tricks, and Flyball.

Workshops usually last between 90 minutes and 2 ½ hours. Seminars usually last between 4-8 hours.
